Athens Ohio
After contacting the larger solar installers in the area I decided to go with ARP and could not have been happier. Not only was he able to give me a quote in a timely manner. He was able to augment the original system for future expansion, possible battery backup and generator tie in, Something other installers said they would not or could not do. I felt that having Gary, the owner of the company, on site, doing the sight survey and having him available and willing to make last minute changes was invaluable. The installation only take two and half days and my wife and I could not be happier. Knowing that I can contact Gary if any problems arise or if I need a question answered is a great peace of mind that cannot be bought.

good people
I had a good experience. Very prompt. Gary showed me a few different options with the likely stats, which made choosing easy. He set me up with solar Edge monitoring so I can see how much is being generated. It went down while back . I called Gary and he got it reset right away. No data loss. I have not done my taxes yet so I can't comment on ARP's support in that. I'm sure they will help if asked. No fault to ARP but I expected more credits on unused energy than happened the first summer. If I stay in the house I might add on more panels.

Great Job
I put quite a bit of time into researching solar installation companies and got bids from 3 different suppliers. Appalachian had a very competitive bid so I went to see three installations that they had done. Their work looked good, and previous customers were very pleased with their work so I went ahead with Appalachian. I was not disappointed. They did an excellent job. The installation itself took about half a day, and when they left, I was generating power. I am someone that asks a lot of questions and Gary, the owner of Appalachian, was very patient with me, and answered all my questions very thoroughly. Appalachian has been in the business for a long time, so they have a lot of experience with all the details involved with getting a system installed and permitted. Appalachian also handled all the details of applying for permits and getting the net metering set up. Overall I was very pleased with the whole experience and I can recommend them highly to anyone considering a solar system.

Quick, tidy installation, friendly staff!
ARP was great to work with from start to finish. Gary spent time with us planning the system, then the installation proceeded on schedule. The finished system is very well installed with great equipment. After installation, when we've had questions, ARP has always been quick to help.

Gary and team did a great job getting all the approvals done and installing our 9 panelplusmicro inverter PV system in 1-day. Very tidy and carefully done, made the process easy and worry free for us. It was so nice to do business with people who are also obviously passionate about helping the environment.
I was impressed with Appalachian. The crew was experienced and highly dedicated, and they clearly wanted to do the best job possible. I couldn`t have asked for anything better.
The purchase incentive program I`m using is the 30% tax credit from the IRS. In regard to the last question above, there is no way the contractor could charge me the net amount after purchase incentives were deducted.
