Working with Centauri Systems on my rooftop install was a really good experience. I found them to be very customer-centric and any time I had a question about anything, Madison was always very prompt in getting back to me. My system has been working great since installation 3 months ago. I can see why they get consistently great reviews.

Working with Centauri Systems has been a pleasure - from the initial consult to the project completion. They responded quickly to any questions I had and provided me with the documentation I needed. I also LOVE my system. I'm already offsetting my electric costs by 150% avg since the sun has come back out. I so look forward to benefiting from this system for years. Thank you, Centauri!

We had a terrific experience with Centauri. They were very responsive and communicative. They helped push the utility to stop dragging its feet when necessary, and they kept us informed each step of the way. Friendly, professional and flexible. And unlike some other installers, they did not make dodgy promises about whether the project would be operational in time for us to get the solar credits before they expired. They gave us a price for early 2026 (with no tax credits) that was better than the prices others gave us for 2025 (with tax credits).

I received multiple quotes from solar companies. Centauri was one of the few that were still honest with their prices with the solar rebate expiring soon (and now expired), not artificially raising their prices. We had a slight hiccup in the project which caused a delay, Centauri handled everything professionally, promptly, and took a hit on their end to ensure customer satisfaction. Throughout the process, they were always prompt in their responses, took their time in answering my questions, and very friendly. I can't say enough good things about Centauri!

I'm really glad I went with Centauri for my system, which is 6.3 kW and 10kWh of storage The price was good (lower than some quotes that were speccing worse equipment!), and the quality of work was great. The folks that came out to do the work (Spencer, George, Chris, Zach, Andy, Graham) were all great. They worked really hard, were knowledgeable about how things worked, and worked with me on where to position some of the equipment. They took the time to explain what the various pieces of equipment did and how they interacted. They even correctly identified me as the sort of nerd who'd want the installation manuals, and they left those for me. The original estimate for how long the project would take was off by quite a bit, but they worked around my schedule, and from what I can tell they've made changes to prevent that in the future. If I do have problems with the system down the road, I'm glad that it'll be Centauri doing the warranty work. If they were to go out of business (and I sincerely hope they don't), their standard package includes third-party warranty insurance, so you won't be out of luck. After 7 months of operation, I'm still pleased with the system. I have no qualms recommending Centauri, and I've pointed friends to them. Whoever you go with, have them spec the system based on your usage, then spec a bit bigger to see how it changes cost and performance. If you do want to scale up, it's cheaper to do that up front. Even if you don't, you don't have wonder about "what ifs".

The Centauri staff and installers are top-notch. With MN weather, a less than helpful electrical utility company that had issues with their own stuff, the Centauri Project Management staff were a dream to work with. They were responsive and knowledgeable. On the day of the install, the crew was here and gone. Being mindful of the residence and cleaning up behind themselves.

We were referred to Centauri Systems and couldn't be more pleased with our whole experience from start to finish. Everyone we interacted with was professional and great to work with - it's important to note that Centauri only uses their own in-house employees - which was a really important differentiator from other companies who outsource work to 3rd parties. The project management team of Madison and Tiffany kept us well-informed throughout. Zach the electrician did a great job with the battery install and electrical work plus their entire installation team was awesome. I would highly recommend Centauri Systems to anyone looking for a high-quality solar and battery system install.

I talked to a few different installers, and I felt like Centauri was the best option. They did not disappoint! Great communication, industry knowledge, pricing and a product! I like that they are local and have been around for many years.

We installed an almost 14kw system last year. Centauri was great and did a nice job explaining things to us, installing it, laying out all the electrical work, cleaning up nicely. Xcel was a pain to deal with to get approvals and that was the biggest factor in the delay of our system installation.

I was applying for solar last spring and thought I'd found a company to install my solar at my home in Wyoming Minnesota. I decided at the last minute I'd look one more time. I Googled solar one last time an found Centauri Systems LLC. It is a local company with office in the Twin Cities. The company I was going to have my install by was In another state. I read the reviews for Centauri Systems LLC and only found the highest quality of reviews. I've had first class service by Jason Gardner sales person. Jason took my application and contacted me from start to finish. He's contacted me several times after the solar was completed to ensure everything was going ok and working fine. I've had constant updates about the progress threw the application process from Madison the head project Manager. She insured all permits were submitted and approved from all levels to include Xcel. It was 100 hands free for myself, Centauri Systems LLC ensured everything was taken care of. I couldn't have asked for a better install team. They were here when they said they would be. Every person on the install team was very kind and polite. They had my solar installed within minimal amount of time. I Was shocked at how fast it was done. I'VE had zero problems with my system and Im overly pleased at how the complete process was handled by tbe complete team at Centauri Systems LLC . Centauri did a fantastic job throughout the process of our solar project on our house. From the quote phase, communication from Project Management, and the installation which was done in winter weather, the team was organized and professional. We are really happy with the outcome!

Still waiting (over a year)for Xcel to send me credits. I was told explicitly that it would be residential rates, and got commercial rates. I could have applied it to an apartments meter, but was told there was no reason to. The Tax situation isn't what was promised. I have to spread the credit over multiple years. Was a bad investment. Decent price, no issue with the install, just given bad information, and no help getting Xcel resolved.

Centauri personnel were all extremely easy to work with, especially with a process including interfacing with Xcel Energy. All were pleasant, knowledgeable and quick to respond.

I can't say enough positive things about the Centauri team! They always responded quickly to requests and questions, installation was quick and easy, and the electrician taught me a lot about how it all worked. They also worked hard to advocate throughout the permit process when the city was slow in responding to our applications.

I scheduled a call with Centauri Systems to talk about getting solar installed in my home last week, but never received a link to join the meeting. 5 minutes after the meeting start time, I received a call from someone named Zach who asked why I hadn't logged in for the meeting. I explained that no one at his company had actually shared a link, and he did then finally share one. Zach seemed to be trying hard to market the company, and kept talking about wanting to get us on the same page. I was glad to take the call once I received the link, but a bit puzzled about what information Zach needed, as he was asking for information irrelevant to solar energy (like about my personal background/where I was from). I then explained that I was expecting someone to arrive so it would be great if we could just keep the focus on solar power. He then proposed that we reschedule for another time, and I said, no if he could just ask his questions about the property that would be helpful. He kept arguing that we should reschedule -- apparently he was offended by not having capacity to have a longer chat? I again asked if he could ask if his questions, and finally said that if he wasn't comfortable proceeding, that was okay. He then said that he felt that I wouldn't be a "good fit" for Centauri. The interaction was kind of comical, as it was just such abysmal marketing, but I thought I should post a warning for other consumers.

I found Centauri after an initial vetting and review using Energy Sage to narrow down the list of solar providers for my area. I found the process with Centauri straightforward even with the rush of customers starting projects ahead of the federal subsidy removal. They were the best value and offered the highest quality system components and panels. We worked together to size the system to meet my need and I’m looking forward to doing my part to support our climate and save some money!

We started the process in February and finally started producing solar energy in November. Centauri was a faithful companion through this long journey, with super helpful head-up communications that kept us apprised of where we were in the process and translated technical jargon so we could understand. Every staff person we interacted with was gracious and encouraging. What a great way to start a 30-year relationship!

Truly the was a great experience and I'd never expected to say that after the necessary process of getting my solar up and running. They were personable from the start. They asked good questions that felt genuine and helpful as well as to get to know me. They would check in on me to see if i had questions, but I never once felt pressured. I had been looking into solar for a couple years and had consultations with other companies, but I kept being drawn back to Centauri. Everything was delivered as promised and ahead of schedule, which was unbelievable with the huge interest in solar this year. Everyone I interacted with from office staff to installers to the actual president of the company (who was one of the installers on site) was so thoughtful and polite. When they came out they took good care of everything at my house so it never felt or looked like a worksite. (My neighbors didn't even know they had done the installation.) And they were friendly (even with my dog!) They took care of working with city inspectors, state inspectors, the electric company, manufacturers, and financing without me having to do anything and none of those must be fun to deal with. It was a great experience and I have been recommending my friends use Centauri even before the last switch was flipped.

We put in a large ground base solar system. They handled all the logistics, permits, installation, hookups, found the best financing,...Basically everything from start to finish. The system is up and running. As planned and on schedule. Works great, zero environmental impact, maintenance free electricity and selling back the excess to the grid. Win, win, win, win...

From the initial informative zoom presentation, to the follow up and contract, to the final installation and activation, this experience could not have been better! Everything exceeded my expectations, from communication to cost to timing.

I've been working with Centauri Systems for a couple months now to install solar on my house and garage and they've been great. They made a comprehensive plan and explained it to me in detail, as well as details about their company and the technology behind solar in general. They were also very patient and understanding when my loan for the project was taking longer than anticipated to go through and so unfortunately I paid the invoice late, but they were totally fine with that. Solar has been fully installed and they've been so great! Shortly after it was installed a squirrel tore through some of the wires and they worked with me to find a solution. I bought some squirrel guard wire fencing and they installed it in addition to replacing the panel. They've been super communicative and awesome!

I received an electrical upgrade along with the solar panels. Their coordination with Xcel was seamless and effective. I am completely satisfied with the operations from Centauri Systems. The panels look great and neighbors are asking me about it. I am only recommending Centauri Systems as they delivered.

We chose Centauri as our solar installer from a site that compared several installers. Centauri had the best price and highest efficiency, among other best qualities. It was an easy decision. They were in excellent communication throughout the process, on time and fast with the install and delivered a product that started producing for us immediately. We're very happy!

We had Centauri Systems install 35 solar panels on our roof recently, and the entire process was superb! They're undoubtedly the top solar company in Minnesota. Dylan, our salesperson, was fantastic—he was knowledgeable and quickly addressed all our inquiries. Destiny, our project manager, was very personable and kept us informed throughout every stage. Impressively, they managed to push our installation date forward, so our system was operational before the hottest days of July. This timing was perfect, and we've been generating over 80kWh of power each day since! The installation crew, including James, Andy, and Graham, were highly professional. They made sure everything was installed flawlessly and paid close attention to aesthetics. When we were ready to turn on the system, we faced a minor issue that wasn’t Centauri's fault. Graham was exceptional, spending over an hour on the phone with Enphase to ensure the problem was resolved and our system could be activated immediately. In short, our experience with Centauri Systems was outstanding. Their team demonstrated professionalism, expertise, and genuine care for our satisfaction. If you're considering solar panels, Centauri Systems is the way to go!

Centauri was a pleasure to work with and would recommend them to anyone. We started discussions in February and by the end of the month were confident Centauri was the company for us. It was only ~6 weeks from the date of signing the first documents until they were installed which is probably faster than anyone else could have done. The system looks great, is performing well, and overall everyone at Centauri couldn't have been better. Brett, Noah, Dylan, Graham, and all the great installers, thank you. We got a good balance of high output REC 410W panels combined with a cost-effective IQ7 series (future battery system realistically is not for us). My recommendations: 1. Buy with a MN based company (Centauri on the top of that list of course) 2. Expect some delays and minor hiccups but don't worry, you're in good hands. 1. We had just moved in January so didn't plan on doing solar so soon, but a Blue Raven door-knocker started the conversation and I started getting competitive quotes also from Centauri, All Energy, and iSolar. I will repeat other's recommendation: BUY LOCAL! Blue Raven was way too pushy, was in the business of financing rather than solar, and overall were not transparent on a system details and their slimey financing hidden fees. The other companies I would be happy to go with, but Brett and Centauri, while truly no-pressure, were upfront super willing to answer all of my technical questions immediately and to amazing length! They were priced very competitively and with SolarInsure at their back, longevity of the system is pretty much guaranteed. 2. The reps at the energy company work with Centauri so it's hard to gauge progress of signing forms and getting things ordered, but just know it can take some time. While we had it installed in early April, it was approved and turned on officially in May due to several rounds of MVEC inspector pointing out new things that were related to billing or whatever which was annoying, but it got done. The few little mishaps here and there, Centauri owned responsibility and did what was needed to make things right, so I commend them for great service in all scenarios.

Working with Dylan was the easiest and most helpful experience I’ve had with a company. He was prompt, understanding, and problem solved my issue until a solution was found.

These guys were great to work with. They kept me well informed throughout the process. When they ran into some issues, they went above and beyond to take care of it. They made it a super easy process.

I became interested in getting a solar panel system for my home when another business went door to door in my neighborhood. I knew for sure that I wanted to move forward with solar, so it was just a question of "who," not "if" or "when." I got quotes from several solar installation providers and I was surprised to find that Centauri Systems was the most competitive for all of my criteria. Their offer had the most efficient panels, the best warranty, and even the lowest price. Through speaking to the staff, they answered all of my questions and provided very transparent information. I was at no point pressured into getting more than I wanted, but they also worked with me to provide proposals for larger systems upon my request. I decided to oversize my system and get a system that would generate an estimated 245% of my yearly energy use. So far, my first full month of production has resulted in about 3 times more energy generated than I have consumed, which is in line with estimates considering that it is summer. I was also impressed by how quickly I was able to get my system fully installed, inspected, and operating. I entered into an agreement in mid March and my system started producing around mid April. The customer service has been excellent and I have not had any issues.

We shopped around for our solar system and got quotes from 5 or 6 installers. When talking with Dylan, what struck me immediately was that I didn't feel like I was talking to a salesperson. Dylan was direct, concise, and laid out everything we needed to know. That, combined with the superior product and competitive price made it an easy decision for us. Installation went well and the system looks great on our roof. Just got our utility statement for our first full month and it was a $60 credit. Would highly recommend Centauri.

The whole Centauri team has been good to deal with from sales and answering my hundreds of questions to the guys coming out to install and explain what they’re doing. Have been a pleasure to work with! Now I’m looking forward to seeing how well my solar panels work!

Centauri Systems did a great job on my solar installation. When I researched installers, they had the best pricing I saw on an installer that also had the highest rating. At my request they sold me some extra capacity that made really productive use of my roof space and looks really good. Everyone I dealt with was friendly and informative. When the power company was a little slow to set up the final test, my rep kept on them and kept me in the loop on what was happening.

They did a prefect job from sale to install. This company was great at answer all our questions and was onsite the day they said they would be there.

This is my second install with Centauri. I initially used them for a solar array, and added on Enphase 5P batteries this year. Everyone was easy to work with, and communicated well. Xcel was a pain, and dragged out everything (both times!) which stinks but isn’t Centauri’s fault. Work was done quickly, Andy is a super knowledgeable and friendly electrician, and Noah was quick to reply with any questions.

We are extremely happy with the job Centauri did installing our solar panels. Dylan explained everything thoroughly and gave us different pricing options. Our project manager Noah was easy to get a hold of and answered any questions we had. The whole process was much faster than we thought it would be. The workers that came to the house were really nice and professional. This was much easier than we thought it would be. I can't recommend Centauri enough for your solar needs.

I chose Centauri Systems because they provided the best quote and warranty on EnergySage, which included a free panel! Dylan, Noah, and team were great to work with. The install was done quickly and they cleaned up very nicely. They even installed a power consumption monitor for free as a holiday gift. Waiting for the approvals and inspections done by Xcel and electrician was the slowest part of the entire process but it was the holiday season so it was to be expected. All in all, I recommend Centauri Systems for your solar needs. It's great seeing the savings on my electric bill!

I was having trouble finding someone that would work on my solar systems failed gateway. Centauri very quickly said YES they would be able to help me. We had 52 PV panels installed. We interviewed 5 Solar companies and chose Centauri Systems. We received a fair bid. Dylan and Noah were great to work with and responded to texts and emails immediately. The install crew was professional, efficient and knowledgeable. I have been working with Centauri Systems since August on all phases of my solar project. I found them through Energy Sage. They came in with the most competitive offer out of all the quotes I received while providing the best warranty and the best panel/inverter combo out of the quotes. Once I chose them, I received prompt communication, another rundown of the quote, visualizations of the project and a time frame for each phase of the project. Each step of the way, Centauri Systems made the project easy to understand, transparent and communicated above and beyond my expectations. They were available to respond quickly to any questions I had. The project went smoothly, all certifications and permits passed on the first time and with little to no input or hassle on my end other than making me aware of what step we were on, what was needed from me and a follow up of the next step and what to look for. I am very happy with my solar installation and with Centauri Systems for doing the project right, passing all inspections and ensuring I was taken care of each step of the way. I would recommend anyone interested in starting their solar project to do their project with Centauri Systems and their team!

Went with Centauri over some other companies as they could guarantee installation in the 2022 calendar year (back when that meant an extra 4% rebate). Had a few back and forths on the overall size we should install on the house, but once we got that squared away, it was straight forward. 16.2 MWh measured by the system after 47 weeks being online. Overall, it's performing as we'd hoped. Time will tell if the REC panels hold up to their warranty claims.
