Everlight Solar

Our system was installed in September 2024. We submitted a copy of our previous years electric usage. We we told that annually, we would generate enough power that we would end up with an annual credit. That was based on 3 adults living in our home for the prior 12 months. Shortly after install, we have achieved that goal 2 months out of the past 15 months. NEVER achieved close to an annual rebate/refund. When asked point blank about total snow coverage of panels during winter (Minnesota) we were told that the black panels would absorb the suns rays and quickly melt the snow. Experience shows that snow fall during extremely cold months, panels stay covered for many weeks. When questioned, we were also told that there were “unavoidable fees” from the utility company (Connexus) of $18+ monthly. We were not informed by the sales rep that to maximize our solar generation, we would need to clean the panel surfaces (at all) more than once annually (more like 2-4 times annually). I’m 73 years old and climbing on my roof is not something I can physically perform. 18 months after system install, I am now looking at adding more panels (not from Everlight) to cover monthly costs and some kind of heating elements to melt snow. When I sent my concerns via email to Malory at Everlight, she did not respond.

My husband and I recently switched our wi-fi to Fiber Optic. We didn’t realize that because of this we were no longer sending data on our Everlight Solar Panels. We were immediately contacted by Elliana with Everlight Solar to notify us of this situation. Elliana scheduled a telephone appointment, at our convenience, and I just finished that appointment with Elliana. Elliana guided me through the quick easy steps to get our Everlight Solar data connected again. I’m very impressed with Elliana’s customer skills and cheerful patience assisting me. It is nice to know that Everlight Solar is constantly monitoring my Solar investment and Everlight Solar Representatives , such as Elliana are there to assist. Elliana gets my 5 Stars for Customer Service.

Fast & extremely efficient everyone was very friendly & helpful to helping us to understand every step

The entire team showed up on time, was polite and professional and were done in less than four hours. Liam, Oliver, David, Levi, Jason, Nathan, Josh, August were all friendly and efficient. Our salesperson, Graham even showed up and guided me through setting up the app. Great job Everlight!

These guys have been a nightmare for me to deal with. It's been over a year now I still haven't even got a place to send my payments. So I wrote on my bad review on better business girl and they begged me for a week to take it down so they could app their Better Business Bureau credit rating. And I was told they would hold my hand and walk me through to the finish They did none of the above matter of fact, they won't even let you make a phone call. The receptionist intercept and then they make a lies for the management. Telling me they didn't come in, they're on a phone conference. They're in a meeting. And no one I threatened with the Better Business Bureau. He miraculously shows up be very careful. Read all reviews from Florida, Colorado and Oklahoma.

The team scheduled for 1 o’clock but called earlier saying they had to finish early and could they come over and agreed with it come in and check the attic for the water leak that was showing up on our ceilings turned out to be no roughly just a vent when the wind and rain blow just straight goes to the van into the house no major problems team is efficient

My comments are related to the staff that did the electrical installation from the electric breaker box to the meter set site and into the attic to complete the connection to the panels. Also included are the crew members that installed the panels on the roof. All crew personnel were excellent to work with. I was impressed with the care taken to not damage any of my property. All of them worked very well together and helped each other to assure everything was lined up appropriately. Having worked on construction sites that used inappropriate language and a lot of yelling, I was very appreciative of the appropriate language and politely speaking with each other. It was obvious that they get along together and enjoy being a team. They also removed a hornets' nest that was in the peak of my garage roof. Thank you tremendously for that. Looking forward to the day that the system is up and running.

Overall, I am pretty satisfied. The installation process was really easy and limited work on our part. Everything got installed and was up and running same day. You can't beat the warranty....I got a quote from another solar company and while pricing was similar the warranty for Everlight was significantly better. We paid for the panels up front with no financing and got the tax rebate. Honestly, I don't know if it's worth it financially to buy these panels without the federal tax rebate. Even with the rebate we are looking at a break even point of about 12 years before the panels pay themselves off in money saved on our electric bill.

I had the panels installed today and it only took about 2 hours. FAST! And they didn't even have to disconnect the electric. Brad and Josh were awesome as well as their crew.

The staff at Everlight has been nothing short of amazing. When approached two years ago by the company, the representative discussed the process, designed a plan for the layout and discussed how it would work right at my home. When we decided to go forward, from start to finish, they helped us through the process. The team that installed the system worked quickly and efficiently to get us up and running. After two years Jaden is still reaching out to offer any assistance and answer questions that we may have. If you are considering going with solar, I highly recommend reaching out to Everlight.

My review of Everlight Solar started on Friday evening January 17th 2020, a young gentlemen was canvassing our neighborhood, he stopped by and I was leery of what he was selling. Once I let down my guard, he message rang true and I was interested in hearing more. He suggested having a salesperson stop by the following Monday evening. On Monday January 20th, Jordan Boyea, a “Master” (my opinion) salesperson came into our house and within 30 minutes I was ready to sign on the dotted line. The only stipulation I had was that he had to guarantee the Solar Panels would be installed in 90 days. All forms, permits, applications were “turnkey’. Communication with Everlight Solar was beyond accommodating and timely. April 19th would be 90 days since signing the documents to get started. On Wednesday, March 25th in a four hour time period 32 solar panels were installed, 25 days ahead of schedule. Still no payments were made until 30 days later. We have already received the $1500 Alliant Energy Solar Power grant. We will be applying for the 26% Federal Tax Credit next February. Our normal averaged electric bill from Alliant Energy is $165 month. Our April, May and June bills in 2020 were $5.30, $8.50, and $30.58 respectively (with June’s hot temperatures and our AC use driving the bill higher). For the first time in three years we have had three months in a row that we didn't pay anything for electricity and have over $85 in credit with Alliant Energy. I have had my Everlight Solar for almost three full years. I think that theri customer service and installation folks have been very helpful and courteous. I appreciated how the head of the installation crew suggested a reconfiguration of the layout of the solar panels after he had the chance to examine the size and position of my chimney and neighborhood trees. The only glitch in the process was in how long it took the utility company to connect my house to the grid--particularly frustrating because I missed out on a month of summer sun. Occasionally Everlight checks in with me to make sure all is well. Once they called to let me know that they weren't receiving data from my house (I had accidentally switched off my router when I went on vacation), but to reassure me that this did not affect the connection to the utility company. I would certainly recommend Everlight Solar to anyone who is considering adding solar panels to their home.

Just had the panels installed today. Everything went smooth. Thank you to Graham who we worked with to get to this point and also the installation crew of Chris, Mario, Brodie, and Shaun’s crew who were friendly and competent in doing their job and answering my questions.

The installation and installers were top notch. Their app to monitor the production and useage could use a lot of improvement. What is needed is an app that shows current production and useage and also what is being supplied to the grid. It doesn't have to be live data but update every 15-30 minutes would be good.

My installation was completed yesterday. From beginning to completion, every Everlight employee I met was extremely friendly, competent, bright and articulate. Mark, Matt and Shamus would be welcome in my home at any time.

Everlight Solar is a great company to work with. Every interaction with them has been positive. We needed our roof shingles replaced and they came to remove the panels when requested and promptly put them back on.

The entire process we've felt very supported and accommodated by Everlight Solar. From Pre-order with Graham to scheduling and coordinating with Sarah, to installation with the crew including Rally and Brooks, to them returning with Joe for troubleshooting a minor issue we always knew who we could contact if any questions or concerns came up. Exceptional customer service is not as common as it should be these days but I am glad that the likes of Graham, Sarah, Rally, Brooks, and Joe alongside Everlight Solar are leading by example! I'm very grateful to have been apart of this experience with them and highly recommend them for your solar needs!

The overall experience with Everlight Solar was smooth and hassle-free. Through out the process, I was consistently kept informed and in the loop. We are very happy with our installation. So far we have produced more power with the panels than our house has used except for three months. Those were winter months of course. So we are very happy with the panel's

The installation of our Everlight Solar panels was a thing of beauty. It was smooth and very efficient. It took only 3 hours for the installation of 18 panels. The only hiccup was I had to wait for almost 2 weeks for Xcel Energy to come and do their part and make final connections to the grid. We have had our solar panels up for almost 2 years now and are quite pleased with the savings. Although it may be a while before we start seeing a return on our investment, knowing that we have moved away from relying on natural resources for our power feels good. Graham and the people in the Savage Everlight Solar office was very helpful and walked us through the process in getting everything in ordered. Eliza recently reached out to make sure our solar panel system is performing to our satisfaction, and they are!

The team just finished the installation on our roof and MAN, what a quick smooth process it was. Our electricians Mitch and Travis were very helpful and walked me through the entire system and how it worked. Our panel crew did an amazing job, and finished the whole install in 2 hours! Caleb, Cardell, and Will were all amazing workers and incredibly friendly. Very happy with my Everlight experience so far, and we can't wait to finish the last few steps with Alliant and get hooked up to our panels.

Wow—The team from Everlight continues to amaze! It has been smooth and customer friendly from the start. Today our panels were installed! The team called to say they were running early, asking if that was okay with our schedule. From the moment they arrived, Josh, Brad, and Drake introduced themselves and everyone on the crew worked seamlessly to complete the job. They were efficient, careful of our property, and completed in the projected timeframe. Josh walked me through the system welcoming questions and making sure next steps are clear. Very impressive! The communication and customer service from the start of the process was very well done. The day of install, the Everlight Solar team was prompt and courteous. Brad and Josh were very helpful and answered all of our questions. They provided us with customer support e-mail and phone number. They took care with our property and cleaned up before leaving.

The process flowed along really well, maybe taking a bit longer than I thought but nothing too onerous. The installers were a delight and were more than happy to explain what was going on and how things worked. I was surprised at how quickly they got the system installed.

From the initial contact to the installation, my experience with Everlight was informative and pleasant. Mark had all the information and procedures that “going Solar” would entail. The installation was on time and even quicker than expected. The crew, led by Matt, was efficient and friendly, even with my two pushy dogs. The paint on the conduit perfectly matched my siding. The crew did everything neatly and so quickly. I cannot be more pleased.

If I could put zero stars i would Everrlight solar lied to me. Only half of our electric bill is being payed AND Mosaic their financial partner will be paid interest first before anything goes toward principal. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCAM

Working with Everlight Solar was a great experience! Especially, working with Graham Gunderson. I felt he understood what we wanted to accomplish with adding solar panels to our home and he tailored the project to our needs. There was great communication throughout the process which was important for us. I highly recommend this company and I have referred them to several friends and family!

Pushy sales tactics. Promised the world and now come to realize the savings isn't worth the upfront cost. Guaranteed rebates that were on an allotment base. Come to find out the energy company didn't even have this program. They sold in the MN area before approved for this state. HORRIBLE experience! Pay your electric bill and shut the door on these people.

John and his entire team were great as they took only a couple of hours to install the entire project, we're incredibly respectful, and kept us informed throughout the entire morning. The team of admin folks who have helped make this such a smooth purchase and transition to solar are top notch. Very professional. Thank you to the entire Madison branch!

Installers who put the panels on were great. very informative and were able to answer any questions we had. would highly recommend their services. Were here at their scheduled time and worked in very cold conditions until everything was completed and checked Ray says, I believe the Solor panels will work out to our benefit, to Mark, when this happens, I will stop crying about the tree that had to be cut down.

From the beginning information provided to us was misleading, being to how the tax credit worked to contact terms. While we are happy with the addition of solar power to our home the experience we had working with Everlight has been far from positive. The cost of our roof repair was suspicious and we were told we were invoiced wrong, timelines weren’t adhered too (while we can understand supply chain issues due to the misleading tax information this almost led to potential tax issues), payments weren’t applied to our account, and follow-up from the sales rep was slow. While I encourage people to look into solar I can’t and will not recommend Everlight Solar, and hope the on-going monitoring experience helps redeem them from our unhappy install experience.

We have always been very concerned about the environment and have done all we could to make our home energy efficient including installing a Geo-Thermal system in our home several years ago. Salesman Mark Nelson arrived at our door late last summer and thoroughly explained Everlight Solar and how it would help reduce our electric bill and help with our environment. Every aspect of the whole process from beginning to end went very smoothly. Matt and his crew for installing the panels were terrific and it only took a few hours. Our system will be turned on later this month and we are looking forward to being more green and even more conscious of our environment. At this point, we would recommend Everlight Solar to others that might be interested.

We were approached by the door to door solicitor and agreed to meet out of an interest in solar and curiosity about cost. We were impressed that they are a 'local' company (Minnesota/Wisconsin). They answered all our questions and have been open about everything. Installation went very quick and smooth. We are anxious for the system to be turned on and see what we bought!

During each phase of the projrct, Everlight Solar was very thorough with their declarations and explanations. They provided timely updates as each phase progressed. The only rral delay we experienced was during the permitting process with the city and electrical utility. The install team with Brody showed up on time, were friendly and professional, and cleaned up after themselves. We were amazed at how quickly they finished the install. Now just waiting for the final inspections by the city and utility. Can't wait to take advantage of the sun!

The panels use poorly made microinverters, which cause RFI galore, as in, they put out a lot of unwanted electrical noise, which affects your radio reception, and sometimes cell phone reception too. After sales was okay at first, but once they realized they couldn't fix the problem, they simply gave up... so, think twice before you give them your hard earned money, b/c should any problem arise, you'll be SOL. Solar panel brand was not disclosed to me, neither was the brand of the micro-inverters. Personally, I regret doing the install with Everlight Solar, and should've known about these panels being so noisy I would've never done it in the first place. Also, given the current outcome of my case, and unless things change, this will be the last time I use EverlightSolar for a solar panel install

The process went great, communication regarding the installation date and when the system would be activated was some what confusing. Communication between staff and client was excellent. Arrived on time and installation was completed earlier then expected. Excellent job by all staff. Would recommend to others.

Everlight stopped by in January and we signed on then. The wait to have the panels installed was lengthy (as many things have been during the pandemic), but communication throughout has been great. Installation day went smoothly and Jason and his crew crushed it.

As the title implies, the guys from Everlight Solar just installed my solar panels today. Since the panels haven’t been turned on yet, I’ll just comment on the sales and installation aspect. Overall, our sales guy Graham was great, super thorough with explaining the whole process to us and made it easy to make a decision. The install team was fantastic. The electrical guy Craig was super. He also explained everything thoroughly and went about his business in the attic. He even spent extra time to clean up the small amount of insulation on the carpet. Overall, super impressed with the whole team. I’ll write back after the panels have been turned on to comment on the performance. Ken
