WOW! Working with Lumina Solar has been a great experience. From the first moment I talked to Courtney during the orientation, I was convinced they had what I was looking for. I went through 5 different companies. Believe me, they were all good, but Lumina (Courtney) took the time to teach me about the system and how I could maximize the benefits of a solar system. There is a lot of information to digest when you switch to solar power, but Courtney took us by the hand throughout the whole process. We are just at the point of being activated and I can't wait. It's being a few months and we are just ready for the switch. We thank Courtney and Lumina for being there for us (even at 11:30 PM) and if anyone is looking for a solar company they can trust, I strongly recommend Lumina Solar. Even if I have any issue in the future with the system, I' know they'll be ther for me as they've been so far.

Custom Solar Installation
In 2023 I knew that I wanted to invest in solar. I also knew that the system was going to be pretty large and therefore a sizable investment. I wanted to fill the entire back of my roof with solar panels, and I contemplated doing the job myself, however before I made that decision, I wanted to get some quotes from various contractors in the area to see what they were gonna charge. After engaging with a few other contractors, I realized right away that it matters very much who I go with because they all did not appear to understand the intricacies and specificities of my property as relates to how to maximize my solar investment. Many of the quotes I got were automated or generic and on top of that, over priced. Some didn’t support microinverters and others didn’t try to maximize the number of panels on my roof. That’s when I met Gabriel at Lumina Solar. Gabriel is a former solar installer foreman and is now the sales rep for Lumina Solar. He came to my house and we talked in-person. Due to his expertise, I was able to ask him a number of different questions (of which I had many) and he answered all of them very thoroughly. He helped me design a system that met my specific needs for my specific house. I was very happy and comfortable with the interaction I had with Gabriel. So much so that I stopped looking for new contractors and decided not to install the system myself. I signed the contract with Lumina that week. The installation has gone through all of its paces, and he’s met all of the promises that he made from the very beginning. Everything from the installation taking one day to submitting all the paperwork for the various tax and other types of documentation that I have to do and getting the system inspected/interconnected. I’m now grid tied, generating power from my house and pushing it back to the grid successfully. Very happy with this investment. To a large extent, I thank Gabriel for making that possible. Exceptional buyer experience from start to finish
After making the decision to add solar to my home, I did tremendous research on various companies and held meetings with many. It’s a big decision with some heavy upfront cost, so carefully researching my options was a must. From the start, Lumina differentiated itself on several levels. First, my sales rep, Courtney, impressed me with both her knowledge of and enthusiasm for the product. Additionally, due to the technology Lumina employs, she was able to show me in real time during our call the sunlight levels on various parts of my roof, what impact various adjustments might have, etc. I should add that my meeting with Courtney was under an hour long and able to be held very effectively via video conference - something I value these days to minimize schedule/time impacts. This was something that not all solar companies I met with could provide. Courtney also had what I consider a great level of follow-up - she gently checked in from time to time and added some effective selling point reminders, but never took it to an annoying level. I can honestly say that while my decision to choose Lumina was based on several factors, Courtney was a major one. I was surprisingly impressed with the design and installation process's commitment to my stipulations for the project. I say surprisingly because all too often contracted jobs are not completed to expected standards or plans. In my case, I was adamant from the start that I wanted all connective wiring/conduit to be hidden internally in the house, something that several other companies told me upfront might not be possible due to the makeup of my house. But Courtney assured me from the start that Lumina would find a way - that Lumina is different from other companies by working with homeowners on aesthetic and other design requests. And that indeed proved to be true - after signing with Lumina, they repeatedly noted and reassured me that my conduit requests would be taken care of. On installation day, the builders were all extremely friendly and professional. The electricians talked through the plan for internal wiring with me at the start and then consulted with me throughout the process to confirm things were being done to my liking. Safety was a clear priority for Lumina, with a safety supervisor on hand to ensure all roof harness and other rules were being followed. The entire process was very smooth. Lumina took care of all permitting registrations both before and after installation and made it very easy for me as a buyer. I am extremely happy with my total buying experience and would absolutely recommend Lumina to others considering a solar installation. They use some of the best names in solar tech equipment yet came in lower in total price than many competitors. They clearly make customer ease, service, and confidence their priorities and know their business well. Thank you to everyone on the Lumina team that worked with me on this project, with special thanks to Courtney for your professionalism, attentiveness, and honesty!

Lumina is FANTASTIC
Lumina installed our 37 panel system 7 months ago, and we are extremely pleased! Their sales staff is excellent, very knowledgeable and professional. Their installation was top notch as well. The entire system was installed in two days, and it is very, very well done. (I'm an engineer and a trained electrician, and everything I've seen in the installation meets my very critical standards.) They worked very well with our local government and power supplier to obtain all the permits we needed, and everything in that regard was completed very efficiently. After 7 months the system has worked flawlessly, and we have yet to purchase a KW from the grid. Several friends saw our installation and also chose Lumina for their systems. They had the same experience we have had. We are all very pleased with Lumina. They help to educate you, keep you informed, and deliver on what they promise. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND Lumina if you are in the market for green power, reducing your electric bill, reducing your carbon footprint or just taking advantage of the Federal tax credit for residential solar installations!

Tim Cooke listened to my needs and came up with an excellent design, sized to meet growing future needs such as EV charging. I obtained estimates from numerous companies. Power to the People 2023
It started with a phone call with Christopher Richardson who was the Project Manager/Sales Consultant. I asked a lot of questions but he guided me thru them all along with prep tasks I needed to do first. He was always responsive, patient and very knowledgeable as well as honest. Once my property was ready for installation, things went like a NASA space launch will perfect coordination of tasks with Lumina staff, third party inspectors, utilities and permitting. The finished product is world class in terms of workmanship, quality and sophistication. It is also visually very compatible and unobtrusive with the style of the house. You literally can’t tell it is there. I could not imagine any other firm having all of these attributes. We are making power and it is very exciting. Power to the People in 2023 is a reality thanks to Lumina.
