Midwest Wind and Solar

Midwest installed an 18.9 kw ground mounted system for us that was an especially challenging set of circumstances. Without going into all the details, let's just say they went above and beyond to do whatever it took to make this work, and stayed at their quoted amount even after a lot of challenges. Top notch organization!

　　Midwest Wind and Solar is in an entirely different league! 　　When shopping for an off-grid power system for our home, we reached out to five different companies. The difference was immediate and blatantly obvious. Not only was their prompt correspondence appreciated, but their skill level revealed itself with every question that we asked....which helped build our confidence in what we were doing. 　　I could fill several pages of how Midwest Wind and Solar is the best in the business; going on about professionalism and quality. But to sum it up quickly, 'If you're not talking to Midwest Wind and Solar, then you're not getting the best that you could.' 　　And did I mention that they beat their competitors in price too?

The solar installation was very professional, the review and quotes very thorough prior to install. Very responsive staff. I have a large installation on rooftop of ranch home for 105% of annual energy needs, and ultimately was done very well. Appears to be producing electricity as promised. There were issues with cutting gas and electric lines during installation, and other issues with wiring causing delays which is why not five stars. Would definitely use Midwest Wind and Solar again, and I have recommended them to many people since install was completed.

My son was talking about solar, so I researched it so I could intelligently argue against it. The more I read, the more I liked the idea. Next thing I know I was talking to Midwest Wind and Solar. My installation is the first in town and it is a showpiece. I am considering another installation on my summer home. Good stuff.

Extremely satisfied with the service and quality of work. These folks are very knowledgeable and explain in detail the scope of their work and timetable. They then complete the work in a professional manner and always keep you up to date on the progress.

The planning and installation phases of this project went very well. Everything was very smooth. Problems came up in the local utility (NIPSCO)approval/installation of the necessary meter phase. While installation took 2 days, the rest of the project took nearly 2 1/2 months. This was no fault of Midwest Wind and Solar and in no way should be considered a mark against them. The system has been operational for just over 3 weeks and seems to be doing very well.

It was a pleasure working with Midwest Wind and Solar. These guys not only did a good job, but they actually have a passion for what they are doing. They battled the elements for my project, and went the extra mile to get it done on time.

Midwest Wind and Solar stopped me from spending too much on my solar system. Another installer wanted to completely fill my roof with solar but come to find out I didn't need all of that. The salesman at Midwest showed me calculations that 5 fewer solar panels was actually a better return on my investment. we went with Midwest. The installers are great and they were very professional. Left my place they way they found it and did not make a mess. System is working great!

My husband and I checked on several installers. Midwest gave us a proposal that we could understand and broke everything down for us so that we could make an educated decision. Don't expect a hard sell with them. They were more interested in educating us than pushing a system we didn't need. Good honest people that treated our property like it was theirs. By the way- they even took out the leaves out of our gutters while they were up there. LOL

Hands down the best contractor that I have ever used on this job or any in the past. Very satisfied

They provided me with all the information I needed to make an informed decesion and they did NOT PRESSURE us to buy but simply educated us so we could make a decesion based on the facts. They respected our property as if it were their own. Good communications with us along the entire install process. Best news- the system performs better then they quoted me!!! We are happy!!

I was very pleased with the services of this installer. It took me a while to make up my mind if I wanted to invest in these systems. Not that its installed I`m so glad that I moved forward. I love my solar PV and hot water systems!!!! I really felt comfortable with the whole process and everything was explained to me. They are a company that you can trust and they dont push the sale on you. they educate first and then let me make the decesion on my own time. Go with these guys!!!!!

this was the best contractor i have ever dealt with: they kept me totally informed everyday how the paperwork was proceeding, they explained in detail what they were doing and they didn`t try to get me to install more panels than i needed and in fact they talked me down from 8 to 6, and their pricing was much better than 2 0thers with use of a top of the line panel and monitoring system. They were very professional and totaling good people that i became friends with during their time with me. i will never go to someone else for my addition wind and solar wants in the future. the most important attribute that i look for mare than price is honesty and trustworthyness which is why i will go back to them. they are terrific and I recommend wholeheartily.
