Can't Imagine Better
I had a 40 foot ground mount solar array installed by Northwind in November 2013. From the time I stepped into their booth at the Midwest Energy Fair to completion of installation and follow up, they were professional, good educators, and good communicators. I have recommended them to others in my circle without hesitation.

Solar Array Installation - Ground Mount
It is rare in this day and age to hire a contractor to do work at your home and not be disappointed in some fashion. Northwind is a shining example of how things should be done. From the first contact to the final hand over, they provided service that met and exceeded our expectations. During the entire process the installers were prompt, returned calls, proactive in solving unexpected issues and most of all, communicated with us to ensure that the end result would be exactly what we were expecting. Solar Thermal Upgrade and PV Instalation
Although there are other instalers in the area I was attracted to Northwind by other customer recomendations and by their COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT...they are clearly out to make the world a better place...not just a fast buck. <br />The Northwind team is clearly "walking the walk" and will do all they can to provide professional, personal,and patient service to help others do the same.<br />It's a big investment for us, but Northwind walked us through it all...tax rebates went well...the Solar Thermal and PV systems have performed flawless and above expectations. I would do it all again and highly recoment Northwind for anyones Renewable Dreams.

If you're anywhere near Stevens Point or in Wisconsin, these guys are the ones to go to for your renewable energy needs! <br /><br />We worked with Northwind to on a ground mount array for our farm and are now happy to report and watch our meter spin backward.<br /><br />Excellent all around service from planning to install to follow up, we are so happy we went solar on our farm and are so grateful for North Wind's wonderful work, professionalism and enthusiasm.

Residential solar installation
Sometime ago we decided it was time for us to impact our contribution to global warming fix our energy costs. We had concerns. Our installation is some distance from our residence and had some land use hurdles to address.<br />We did research on installers and decided to have North Wind Renewable Energy to help us.<br />We are very pleased with the results. They were with us every step of the way: helping us with the permitting process, taking care of Focus On Energy and utility interconnection applications, choosing hardware for our situation, & professionally installing the system, on time as promised.

Home Installation of PV Panels
The folks at North Wind Renewable Energy are very professional, punctual, and thorough. For the installation of PV panels on my house 3 years ago, they did all the necessary paperwork, did an excellent job of assessing and evaluating my solar needs and costs, and did a great job installing the system. Their friendly communicative approach makes them easy to work with.
