Planetary Systems, Inc.

This is my third system installed by Planetary Systems. They are our neighbors. The building is to be an experimental lab.

This was an upgrade of inverters and charge controllers for an already existing system. The work was done quickly and well, and for a very good price. The installation has worked very well, boosting net energy produced by about 13% so far.

the contractor has a lot of experience and it showed in the wellthought-out system that was installed. additional research after the installation confirms that the system components are of the highest quality and are wel matched.

This is a second home for my wife and children. The original home pyramid house was done in 1999 by Bill -- we are just down the road from Planetary Systems.

Changed existing Xantrex system to new Outback Power Systems equipment, battery upgrade and connection to production meter arrangement. All old equipment removed from original installation of 2000. Added small wind unit to system.Upgrade also added water heating system My system has worked flawlessely since the original installation in 2000. The contractor Planetary Systems, Inc. has kept in close contact and has always been available to answer any questions.

PS method of modular packaging of the system is very clean and well done. The system uses top named components. My only criticism is that the company is under financed. Requiring payments in advance and immediate payment of invoices. These policies were taken to such an extreme that they became a large negative. System is off-grid in a remote area of Montana. Utility installation costs were prohibitive

Planetary Systems did a great job for us. My home is 1500 feet form a utility source so it was a better choice for me to go solar off the grid.

Any delays or problems with installation were mostly attributed to the general contractor and not Planetary Systems. This was a new construction home. I was somewhat disappointed that I was not brought up to speed on the use of equipment. That said, however, the general contractor delayed the alternative energy installation and it caused scheduling conflicts for Planetary Systems. I would recommended Planetary Systems. I am very satisfied. I have additional work scheduled (a wind turbine)!

I find anyone that has any concern about solar to contact Planetary Systems Inc. Before finding them we had already purchased solar through Sun Power Plus, which led us down the wrong road. With recommended changes from Planetary Systems we have replaced every item that was installed by Sun Power Plus, with the exception of a few solar panels.

I had been looking into solar energy for our remote ranch home. We were using propane and an occassional generator. A friend recommended Planetary Systems. I called and they recommended a package, explained preparation I needed to make, and quoted a price. They installed the systems in one day for the price quoted. If I have a question, I call and they willingly answer/help. I also purchased a wind charger from them and installed it myself. So far everything is working great.

This work was a little unusual, because I purchased the equipment from Planetary Systems but had someone else install it because Planetary Systems was out of state. (So some of the questions above don`t entirely apply to Planetary Systems.) Since I knew little about solar, working with two companies made things pretty complicated, and I think Bill assumed I knew more than I did, but he willingly answered all my questions, and solved all the issues that arose. In the end, the system works pretty much perfectly, exactly as promised. The one thing I would say is ask lots of questions if you want to understand what`s going on. Bill knows his systems very well, but only educates you to the extent you ask him to; otherwise he just sets things up as he thinks best based on his (considerable) experience.

Mr. vonBrethorst, and `Planetary Systems Co.`, were contacted and employed to revise, improve, and correct, a previously installed wind/solar power generation system for my home`s use. I had been unhappy with my previous installer`s workmanship, and his knowledge of the business, ever since I moved into my present home. And, my dear wife and I had to suffer through numerous expensive mistakes, caused by his inept installation procedures, over a period of more than three years. But as far as we knew he, our initial wind/solar installer, was the only such individual anywhere near our location! Then sometime late last year my previous installer essentially deserted me! It became impossible to contact him either by phone, or e-mails addressed to his Web site. The feeling of insecurity I then felt, after years of mistakes, sub standard efficiency and doubtful dependability, from the power generation system he installed. And then to be totally and inexplicably abandoned by my him, was almost overpowering. Then several weeks ago a neighbor friend, who also uses wind/solar power, found Mr. vonBrethorst`s web site and told me of it. I immediately made contact with Mr. vonBrethorst via e-mails. I was impressed almost immediately by his expertise, good suggestions for improvements in my system, and especially his brutally honest, albeit negative, assessment of my previous installer`s inefficient workmanship! His confidence, in how he could vastly improve my system, was inspiring and most welcome also! Numerous e-mails later, and after Mr. vonBrethorst patiently answered many questions I had, I contracted with him to totally revise, correct, and improve my renewable power household energy system. The price was fair and I received a billing invoice, very professionally and completely filled out, in a prompt and timely manner. From the first moments of Mr. vonBrethorst`s, and his assistant`s, arrival I was impressed by them. Whereas my initial installer`s workmanship was a tangle of wires, batteries, sloppily (and apparently incorrectly)connected components, and even gave the appearance of being patched together. This was to be rapidly and completely changed. Mr. vonBrethorst quickly disassembled the mess, which was always of dubious dependability, that had been installed by my first installer. He then installed, meticulously, the new and more efficient components he had suggested. He also rewired, in fact replaced (when/where necessary), almost all the wiring used for the system. And the finished product was neater, safer, vastly more efficient, and immensely more professional in appearance. It also actually used less space, in a more efficient manner than the previous installation! In short, Mr. vonBrethorst, within two work days, improved my system`s efficiency. It`s appearance. The safety and dependablilty of it`s daily operation. And for the first time in close to four years gave me piece of mind. And a feeling of security I had heretofore not been able to enjoy for over three years after my retirement. It was wonderful! I feel it is difficult to describe, the efficiency, expertise, meticulous workmanship, and attention to detail Mr. vonBrethorst brings to the job site. Without using superlatives to describe his knowledge and expertise in this field. My sincere hope is that Mr. vonBrethorst, and his able assistant `Wayne`, enjoy very good health. I have employed two different wind/solar contractors. One the initial installer of the renewable energy power generation system needed for my home. And the second contractor, to repair and improve the poor work of the first one. The questions don`t allow for differentiation between multiple contractors, time factors involved. Secondly, I live on a small ranch located far from any power lines or telephone lines. Hence my only source of power for my home was never in question. It always had to be wind/solar.

Purchased package and did all installation myself. Planetary Systems was excellent in all involved areas.

Great Company. I searched far and wide and found no one locally. Planetary Systems in Montana was the most responsive and they have been great to deal with. I recommend them often. My system has had ZERO problems and any questions are always answered quickly.
