It is my opinion that in order to sell these to people without a lot of extra money, or a real desire to save the earth, you are going to have to lower the price. This was an investment I chose to make, but it was really an awful investment. I enjoyed working with Remote Power, and they really believe in their product. <br />This was a remote Alaska installation to power a government research cabin on a National Wildlife Refuge. Grid power is not available, and the site is not accessible by road. The cost of flying gasoline or diesel to the site to run a generator was getting prohibitively expensive. Since this is not a grid-tie installation, and not eleigible for incentives because it is a federal site, many of the questions above are not applicable.

We have had multiple jobs done by Remote Power over the years. Always the same; high quality workmanship, professional and in an reasonable timeframe.<br />We`ve been RE (off-grid) since 1997 and have never regreted it for a minute.

These folks are a wonderful resource for all aspects of solar power in our unique climate.<br />We are a totally off the grid home-many of the above questions do not really apply to us.
