High Recommendation for Construction and Renewable Energy
RJ has always supported both our construction needs as well as servicing a solar hot water system that he did not install. He has been friendly all along, and when we were ready to put in our photovoltaics, he was knowledgeable about the process. He did all the work with the city inspectors and zoning boards, and our greatest obstacles came from getting our certificate of final inspection long after the inspection occurred. We were thankful for the Alliant rebate, but we all needed to become more familiar with the entire process. Instead, we learned of each step just prior to initiating. The construction and installation was great, and RJ helped us when we switched on. My only suggestion is to sit down and review the process with your utility prior to any construction so that you have a good idea of what steps are needed along the way. As far as price, RJ was honest up front, and he even told us that he was able to save us money on his original quote that we had signed. I admire his consistent attitude that energy efficiency and renewables are the way construction should be moving, and he is always improving his knowledge and background through reading and seminars. He easily could have a successful construction business without thinking about renewable energy, and he is a leader in our area. I certainly recommend him highly.

RJ made the process with the city inspectors, planning and zoning quite painless for the customer (though I know it was not painless for him). He jumped over all obstacles to get work in place for the 2013 tax year credit. Technically knowledgeable on solar hydronic and electric. Just outstanding service.
