Not only were they great to work with during the planning and installation, when we had trouble with an inverter several years later, they arranged for a warranty repair that cost us nothing. Working on our second system with them now.

We are very happy with the solar panels installed on our roof in Superior, MT. by Solar Plexus. If you are in the area of Missoula, MT and are interested in a solar panel installation we would recommend Solar Plexus. I price was reasonable and the 30% write-off at the end of the year made it even better. We had these installed in April 2014 and have had no problems with the system at all.

Lee came out and surveyed our creek for hydro. Very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. Very honest something that is getting hard to find these days with businesses. Excellent customer service. We will definitely deal with him for our future off grid needs.

I have been working with Solar Plexus for a couple years now. Starting with just a few panels and allot of questions Rip and his staff have helped us achieve a system that is 100% reliable and user friendly. I would highly recommend Solar Plexus if you are looking to get into renewable energy or just upgrading your existing system.

Rip and company were very professional. What's more my wife and I liked their helpful attitudes. We had some pilot light issues, unrelated to the solar installation and Rip very willingly helped us get the light going. More specifics: (1) Solar Plexus underestimated the cost of the installation by $500 and was willing to eat the cost of the overrun. That speaks highly of their commitment to ethical dealings with their customers. (2) Later in the summer we ran into a product issue unrelated to the work Solar Plexus did for us. Solar Plexus then went back to the Mfr and worked with them to diagnose and fix the problem. (3) Being new to Solar power, we were/are quite naïve yet Solar Plexus was always willing, supportive, and VERY responsive to our questions and other issues. Great company, superior products, and super service. Can't recommend them more highlty.

OM gosh I can't believe how fast the response is when you are in trouble with your solar. We live 1 1/2 hours out of town. Thank you so much. Rip is very thorough, spends time needed for the problem. Spends the time explaining so we understand. Talks to you on the phone and is very helpful. They hooked us all up for solar and did a wonderful job. Solar Plexus is our Solar Store from now on.

We can't begin to tell you how great this company is. We bought an off-the-grid home a year and a half ago. Being complete novices in that regards, Solar Plexus has been there everytime we needed them. Starting with their initial inspection of the system, we were able to negotiate a credit on the purchase price of the house. Since then, we've learned immensely from them, as they never hesitate to answer questions (without charging) and even assist us in becoming more self-sufficient and so saving money in service calls. They always outline numerous options, stating pro and cons of each. Often, ttheir recommendation is NOT the most expensive one. They are very responsive making us feel like the most important customer they have, when in fact we are very small. You can't go wrong with this company.

They did a great job with our installation. Efficient, quick, cleaned up nicely and worked through all of the finances and tax benefits. I would recommend them and have them back again.

Most of our problem were delays with waiting for power company authorization of the project, not with the Solar Plexus team

They installed PV panels & batteries for an off-grid summer cabin in a forest 80 miles from Missoula. They brought in a backhoe to expertly lay a 5-foot deep water from a well 100 meters distant through the woods to the cabin. They installed and wired an electric pump at the well head. Once the work started, everything went rapidly and smoothly. They knew their stuff. They worked long, hard hours and were a joy to work with because they were flexible and accommodated my requests without complaint. Furthermore, I appreciate that they knew their limitations, as I needed to hire an outside plumber to bring connect the water line to the cabin`s interior plumbing. I definitely recommend SolarPlexus.

Good people to work with. The contractor installed the first half of the system in 2010- so this work doubled the capacity of the system.

Rip Hamilton was willing to work with my graduate students who applied for a grant to cover the expense of the solar panels. When the funding was denied the first time, Rip contributed $ 500.00 toward the project and paid for all of the structural improvements that were needed on the roof of our building before the solar panels were installed. The grant was approved on the second round as we had secured multiple sources of grant money to cover the project.

Not sure if our contractor provided the net metering agreement or just told us where to get it. Regardless, they made it really easy.

Dealing with the same person from start to finish (Rip Hamilton) was Great.

Solar Plexus is a good outfit. They did a great job in a very timely manner. Communication was excellent and there were no problems encountered. We would enjoy working with them on future projects. Electrician sub had to correct very minor issue prior to City inspector approval. We applied and managed the incentive agreement with Northwestern Energy ourselves. We paid Solar Plexus for the full project amount and the incentive will be reimbursed to us directly by the utility. Very smooth and painless project. No suprises and no change orders. Solar Plexus was excellent to do business with. We highly recommend them.

Solar Plexus staff and management worked quickly and professionally to install our 13 PV panels. They provided all necessary services from initial evaluation, design, permit application, and final inspection training.

Rip was always willing to answer questions and let me know of any changes.

I appreciated working with Solar Plexus, and felt the work was done with integrity. They were good to work with, and I would recommend them without hesitation. I felt they were patient and responsive to my questions. They also were alert to changes that would affect tax refunds or rebates, and helped make sure I had information that was beneficial for me, even though it delayed the timeframe in which they were paid. I`ve had my system on for 2 weeks, and have not yet had a need for follow-up communication. I am confident that it will be fine.

Theirs was the lower of two estimates I received, and the installation was tidier than the other option (as well as using larger-capacity solar collectors, so that I could get more total wattage on my roof).

We contacted several contractors prior to making our decision to go with Solar Plexus (SP). SP was the most straight forward contractor and helped secure a grant from the local energy provider for incentives.

Lee & Rip were hands down the most experienced & knowledgeable solar dealers we talked to in the area. As contractors go on this job, they completed their work professionally and in timeliest of fashions. I have already recommended their services to others.

1. They worked with us and provided excellent information, including a site visit with the Solar Pathfinder to explore building siting, way before we ever had a building project confirmed or contracted them. 2. They installed the project way before the expected schedule so the contractors could use the system to build the house, which was a significant cost savings for us not having to rent generators for construction. 3. They have provided excellent follow up after the system was installed, and helped us communicate with other subs, including electrical and plumbing issues and how they relate to the solar PV. You are asking the wrong question with your `sources of information most influenced` above: why not give people an opportunity to tell you in their own words (limit to 10 or 15 words?) rather than put these words in their mouth? This is the MOST interesting question!! Why put this in a box! You could write a whole article on their responses. My response is: I intend to save the world. I know it`s just one system, but I think it`s that important.

Great service and very knowledgeable, the wrong part was sent not sure if that was miss ordered or if the company sent the wrong parts, so the instal was delayed about a month. Other than that the folks at solor plexes are great.

Everyone at Solar Plexus was very professional, combined with a down to earth friendliness that made it VERY easy to accomplish our goals, confident that not only they knew what they were doing, but also, by the end of our prep work and planning prior to installation, WE knew! The final project was installed when they scheduled us, with us there getting the instruction needed to be confident in the use of it. Whenever I have called for assistance or a question they have been available 24/7 and let us know they always would be. We could not be happier to have chosen solar as our energy source, and waste no time letting people know how great it, sending them all to Solar Plexus with no reservations! We wanted to use alternative energy sources when we decided to build a house. Knowing it was an awesome choice for the future, sparked my investigation which included mostly use of the internet. The government web site led us to just about all the other sites we used for educating ourselves. Use of alternative energy (in our case, solar) made it possible to live farther out of the city than we might have otherwise been comfortable with. Off the grid for a year now, we will never go back!
