Review for Solar Bear

After several months of an evaluation and selection process with over a half dozen solar providers, we are finally live with Solar Bear today. We selected Solar Bear based on our excellent experience with Will McLean. My wife was initially against solar, and did not want to hear any more presentations. When Will came to our house and explained how it all worked, she finally listened and changed her mind. Will was a consummate professional- patient with all of our questions and highly responsive as we navigated the factors that were important to us. In fact, we even purchased three back up batteries. Patricia was our project coordinator- she was also very responsive and provided excellent step-by-step updates on what to expect, and when to expect it. The installation crew was top-notch! They worked tirelessly throughout and completed the panel placement in two days on a tile roof. Often times when you have work done on your home, you are told one thing and experience another. That’s not the case when you work with Solar Bear. It was a pleasure to see this crew work so well together as a team, and for them to deliver on their commitment to us. We ran into a slight delay getting our net metering turned on. When we raised the issue with Will- he was able to quickly escalate the issue to his leadership team, and it was resolved literally in two hours. Today- Chris a member of the installation team came back and provisioned the batteries. He demonstrated great technical skills, and it was clear that he has a level of mastery in his trade. He gave me his personal phone number in the event we experience any issues. The last member of the solar bear team we worked with today was Wilfredo. A highly personable and professional team member, he helped us install the apps on our phones and walked us through the dashboard, so we could understand all of the technical monitoring components that come with the app. He was a pleasure to work with- explaining technical information that was very new to us, in easy to understand terms. It was a long process, and it is very exciting to now be live with Solar Bear!
