My husband and I considered this company for solar panels and after signing a contract, decided against using them within the 3-day notice to cancel: this was MORE than a year ago. Fast forward to January 2024, we get a notice in the mail from a finance company stating we have our solar payments starting February 2024. We were dumbfounded and it is only listed in my husband's name! We have called the finance company, who states Freedom Forever has to "cancel," for them to close this loan. So, we advised the loan company that we cancelled three days after signing our agreement over a YEAR AGO. The loan company told us to contact Freedom Forever. We contact Freedom Forever, and we are told this will be resolved in 24-48 hours by the salesperson. Here we are 14 days later, and we call for an update and are now told it can take up to 60 days! Sixty days for what? This was never agreed to! We only had two or three calls with this company ever more than one year ago, one of which included they received our cancellation, and we have an email confirming this. We are being reported by a loan company as not making a loan payment for the month of February, for a loan and process that should have NEVER happened in the first place. Freedom Forever is telling me not to make these payments as the loan should not have ever been in place and the loan company is telling us to pay them and then they will refund our money back to us once this is all resolved. If their lack of urgency to correct this egregious error on their part is any indication of their customer service, I can only say RUN, don't walk, away from this company.
