Meo's company was straight forward and super efficient to work with. Did site survey, permit, layout, PG&E, etc., all very professionally, quick, and for a great price. There was no salesmanship or options that don't make sense, and he had good explanations. He was very quick overall, including from the time of the installation until PG&E sent the letter of approval to operate, and his installation workers even came on a Sunday to fix a small glitch (a loose wire nut) ... so now all panels are happily producing power which will undoubtedly reduce our bill - and I can see it in the Enphase monitoring which is included in the price. Most importantly, he made this happen before NEM 3.0 takes effect, despite scheduling constraints (roof replacement, lots of rain this season, solar installers super busy, etc.). If you're looking for a no-nonsense solar install, I strongly recommend him.

Installation couldn’t have gone smoother. Our electrician (who is also a Tesla sub-contractor) recommended we work with Meo at Affordable Home Solar because of the great customer service and quick turnaround time. After a panel upgrade, Meo was able to get our permits, panels installed, inspected, and PGE approved within weeks. From the very beginning/design process, Meo guided us through the various panel brand options and micro-inverter choices while being very clear on the pros/cons, bang for your buck, etc…. He took care of all the permit paperwork and his crew installed 24 panels in less than a day while setting up all the online/app solar monitoring software. With lots of experience and customers in the Bay Area, he knew exactly what our city inspectors were looking for. The inspections were flawless - they were in and out in 10-15 min. Meo submitted our paperwork to pge and within a week our net metering started to show on our pge account. Most importantly, Meo and his team are just great people to work with, always responsive, and very professional. I have obtained multiple quotes for my 4-5 kW system, and AHS is among the most affordable. I like that I am directly communicating with Meo and not some sales person. We installed a solar system back in 2016 using Pedersen-Dean at the time who has since gone out of business. It has worked great, but we added an accessory dwelling unit (ADU) and plan to get a electric car in the future, so we needed to add more power. We found a list of authorized Enphase solar companies and I started to interview companies. Most of the other companies seemed to have sales people that didn't know what they were talking about or tried to get me to upgrade the entire system which was totally unnecessary. Meo was great to work with on the upgrade. He listened to what I needed and designed an upgrade that worked for our home. Another employee David came out and did a thorough inspection of our system to make sure we didn't have any gotchas. Meo and David kept me informed on the schedule and completed the project in one day. Awesome quality job and I have already recommended them to a friend who also have a PD installed system looking at adding to their system too. They wore masks and followed pandemic protocols while they were on our property. I will use them again if I have any other solar projects or need maintenance on my system.

I was not given a quote based on my past electric bills and was fare and reasonable. Other companies gave ridiculously high quotes for a system way above my requirement. My installer was Younes and he was very knowledgeable. Above all, he was helpful and nice to work with. Installation was completed on time and has great warranty on parts and labor. Also, Meo does the paper work for PG&E, another plus! Meo was reliable (showing up at all appointments on time or early!), and working with him was no hassle and he got the job done very well. The conduit metal holding the wires is good quality and professionally installed, and he even painted any exposed conduit on the roof so that it more closely matches the dark roof color. That’s great attention to detail I appreciate. Also, he figured out the most efficient and aesthetic way to wire the panels. I wanted a good looking install, and symmetrical: he understood and delivered on aesthetics too, from selection of panel type and size, to placement on the roof. I am happy w the process and final system. He said he would install in about 5 weeks and he did!! Biggest slowdown in the process was Oakland city for the permit approval and final inspection. But Meo took care of all the interaction with the city. I did some research and decided I wanted a specific high-end brand. He quoted me for my choice but he also pointed out an alternative which I ended up going with. He knows the brands and will work with you for a great solution for your circumstance.

Meo was very responsive by email and offers simple price quotes and a wide range of panels which let me design the system I wanted, including the latest Black on Black panels From Solaria. Installation was very efficient, quick and high quality on the roof and the conduit runs to the panel. Definitely recommend asking Meo for a quote on your system.

He not only personally comes out to inspect and bid the job, he is here and works on the installation as well. He always was on time for appointments, but also completed the job in one day. Most Solar companies send a salesperson with high pressure tactics. Affordable Home Solar was equipped with the information on panels, inverters and installation that I was looking for. It didn't hurt that they were also the most affordable. If you want hassle free solar install, Affordable is the company to choose.

I will be brief. I found this company through referral. They were punctual with all their communication, timely installed, very professional, takes care is inspection etc. To my surprise they also fixed couple of tiles that were broken and also bought the paint to fix the patches that were there for long time. They went above and beyond to finish my installation. Their pricing was also low compared to other big providers due to low overhead cost. I will definitely recommend them.

I had a great experience working with Meo on my solar installation. He was straight forward and to the point. The other solar companies I talked to were all salespeople but Meo is the installer and was quickly able to figure out a solution for my house. He had suggested upgrading my main panel to one that supported my desired power output, as opposed to digging up a ditch to install a 200 amp service (very $$$). Meo and 2 other guys worked to install the solar panels on my house and they were great. First of All , They are local. I live in Hayward , he lives in Union City. We started out with couple text msg , email and phone call. Set up a date for him to physical inspection of the roof and let you know where the panels gonna be installed. give me couple of quotes and couple options. I went with 17 Panels LG , He sent me a contract and I signed , then we set up a date. Him and another guy showed up on the set date and get it done in one day. I'm impressed. and also follow up inspection was done a few days later. From the day I texted him to the finish project with in a month and half. and compare to other Solar installers Meo is very reasonable as far as warranty , workmanship and products. Overall, I'm very pleased with this project. I definitely recommend him to anybody looking for Solar done right, he's the right guy for the job.

We hired Meo last year for solar project with a 4kW roof-top PV system. The project finished in a day in June 2019, passed city inspection within the same week, and PG&E granted Permission To Operate one week after. It's been fully functioning for a little over a year and everything is perfect. The installation process was smooth. Meo managed the project from start to finish. Being knowledgable about the solar systems and economics, he was able to address many system design and electrical issues I had. His quote was not the lowest but I decided to work with him for reasons of (a) he's a Union City based local business with good records and recommendations from friends; (b) the solar modules / inverters solution of choice is superior to the other quotes I received. I recommend potential customers in bay area (especially east bay) contact him for a price quote.

Meo and his team made the whole process very easy on our 5.25kw system. They are a small company where the person (Meo) who gives you the quote is the person running the crew at install. They were the most affordable of 3 quotes taken. Installation was completed and functioning properly in one day....no surprises. No payments were requested until after SJ inspector signed off the following week. We haven't had any issues after one month. Can't ask for more.

Meo is real professional in solar industry, he managed to help me scale up the system so I did not have to spend $2000 to replace my old zinsco electrical panel, and the power produced was just enough to charge my 2 EVs. Let's be real, price is a big deciding factor when it comes to big projects like Solar. However, in addition to having the best price, the sales experience was no frills, no pressure, and informative. We did an initial quote over email. I had questions that Meo responded to quickly so I could be more educated about what I needed and potential future upgrades to the system. The site visit was pleasant. And the system, now running for nearly a year, has performed as expected. I have had no issues, look forward to upgrading my system (with more panels or a battery) when the time comes with AHS.

The hook up with PGE was taken care of by them and they walked me with the self-monitoring app. I probably got more panels then I needed, just anticipating a full EV car later on... during the first month of my PGE, will only 10 days of Solar, I got a credit. I have already recommended to freinds and relatives. Unfortunately, they do not do EV extension, so I called my local electrician.
