Superior Solar Company
An excellent company to hire. Great communication from start to finish. No question went unanswered there was always a quick response too. Sonny our Solar Energy Consultant was thorough and offered incentives. We financed our solar through Dividend and Tim from sales made sure the contract was sent over and we used Docusign which was super quick. Tom the solar liaison scheduled the delivery, the installation crew, electricians, Eversource as well as keeping in touch with us throughout the process. Our installation crew was AMAZING! We can't speak highly enough about this crew. They worked in downpour rain up on a roof! Staying until after dark with headlamps on their heads to finish up work. All of the service men were friendly and professional explaining what was done and what needed to be done the next day. Head installation serviceman, Rob was exemplary. Nick and Anthony were the electrical team. Both were friendly and professional explaining all the boxes and how our solar panels work. We want to do a shout out to all our crews, Rob, Tony, Chardson, Jaime, Jason, Jesus, Nick and Anthony. Thank you Green Power Energy for a excellent experience we are very pleased and even more pleased as we received our first $33.10 bill from Eversource down from $423.00!. IF you are looking for a Solar company we highly recommend Green Power Energy use with confidence.

Excellent, professional, and no unwelcome surprises
Great communication, no tricks, and as professional as it gets. All of my questions were answered promptly and the follow up call post project closure was excellent to inform me of everything else I need to know about the remaining open items. I rate their service as top notch and have no reservations in recommending them to anyone.

Excellent Service
I was finally in the market for solar, and after some downright insulting and atrocious meetings with some of the local providers I did some looking around and saw Green Power Energy. Very highly reviewed, on BBB, Google, etc. But then I sorted by bad reviews, and was very pleasantly surprised. No company is perfect, but if/when GPE dropped the ball you can see that they were johnny-on the-spot to reply right away and do what they could to make it it right. That matters to me. So I setup a meeting and had my first talk with Stephen. He was direct, forthright and answered all my questions, even ones that may have been critical. As a newcomer to this process, I appreciated that. Once I specified what I was looking for, at no time did he try to upsell me or send me in a different direction. My goal was to purchase the panels outright and needed some financing. At first I balked at the interest rate, but he explained to me the caveats of the low rate loans with dealer fees, upfront interest, etc. After our call I fact checked what he told me and it was spot on. I made the decision to purchase the system that day. From agreement to install/turnup was about two months! They were fast, and the job was done right. I had been obnoxious about making sure the consumption clamps were installed correctly, and they went above and beyond making sure my concerns were met. On the day of turn-up, Doug came out for the final inspection. What a nice guy, he went above and beyond for sure. I was mentioning how the WIFI was a bit too weak for a reliable connection to the Enphase box, and he offered to run a network cable out to the box without skipping a beat. That put me over the moon. Well done, Doug! Several months later, I had a follow up call with Aidan and we had a great session. He followed up on my REC submission, addressed some concerns I had and just made the final part of the process very pleasant. I would without hesitation recommended GPE to anyone in the Tri-State area looking to get solar.

Solar installation
Green Power Energy installed a 38 panel system on our home. A new roof was part of the project. I had a single point contact for everything. Anthony Russo was both knowledgeable and easy to reach. The team worked very well and did a very professional job.

Solar & Battery Installation -- A Smooth and Easy Experience
From the time we first contacted Green Power Energy, the process has been great. Communications were frequent and informative. All of the personnel -- Jake (our first contact), the guy who inspected the roof, the panel installers, the power wall guys (Mike, John and crew) and the electricians -- were friendly and knowledgeable, and didn't mind the endless questions we had. The reason we gave 4 stars on the schedule was because of delays that had nothing really to do with Green Power Energy -- the Town of Wallingford was slow to give approval. Would definitely recommend Green Power Energy to anyone!
