We had our solar install this week and couldn’t be happier! The whole process was very smooth and seamless from getting a quote to the install. The team did a great job explaining the process and answering any questions I had. Everyone was very respectful of our home and property as they did the install, and it all went up so quickly! 8M truly has a great team who are all very knowledgeable and good at what they do. The sales guy was especially amazing and really went the extra mile for me. They are very honest and transparent about their prices (which are reasonable) and process, unlike so many other solar companies out there. It was so worth the investment especially with how great the customer service is and the lifetime workmanship warranty they include. The actual panels look amazing and the design looks so clean and well done. Overall just a great company and I am so glad we went with them!

8MSolar was nothing but professional, informative, and efficient. I wanted to get an interconnect form to Duke Energy before the net metering changes on October 1, and despite me waiting until September 13 to get that process started, they got the interconnect request done in time and the system was operational less than two months from signing paperwork. I never felt rushed or out of the loop, the sales process was informative but not pressured, the project manager kept me informed of my next steps and status at all times, and promptly answered any questions I had. The price was competitive, coming in well under the competition with as good as or better equipment and warranties. The system is working as designed, the install looks clean, and I feel confident that if I have any questions or issues down the road, 8MSolar will be happy to help.

Great Value and Performance
8MSolar was a great company to work with. I originally found them through EnergySage as I was a complete beginner, at the time. Bryce was the first person to reach out to me and understood I was getting other estimates, and even encouraged me to do so but offered a "careful warning" about large national corporations. They actually took an EagleView of my roof and did a preliminary setup to give me realistic ideas of what I could expect. The financing and process were fairly easy, though we did have a couple of hang-ups as we have a unique circumstance. Either way, there was no way for them to have known and I wasn't going to fault them for that information. Once we got all that situated though, it was smooth sailing. We had the roof replaced prior to the solar going up as we wanted it to last just as long as the panels. The installers did a great job on the brand new roof, had the correct equipment, and we made sure everything looked pristine (It legitimately looks amazing). We highly recommend them and will be referring them/using them again when the panels advance to the point that we can use a battery system.

Worth every penny
After doing a research for few months and shopping around for solar system on my house, I crossed the number of 8MSolar and chose to give them a try. I don't often write reviews. 8M Solar earned this one. 8M Solar is the only company you should trust with your solar project. We solicited bids from 4 companies. All but 8M were simply sales pitches with a one size fits all approach. 8M Solar developed a plan that would work with some unique technical requirements and provided the engineering expertise to back it up. Their attention to detail is outstanding and they follow through on their promises. We hope to expand our installation and will be going straight to 8M when the time comes.
