I don’t post many reviews but this one I feel obliged to write so other people don’t have to go through what my family and I have gone through. PacificSky Solar has cost my family time, money and extreme stress. I will clearly describe why you should NOT choose PacificSky Solar for your solar panel installation. Most importantly they cannot be trusted. They have proven that time and time again. 1. Not saving money: A main reason I installed solar, which the company sold it to me as, was that this would save us money and that we would be self-sufficient electricity wise, this did not happen but the opposite. My max production capacity during the best months of the year (live in the Valley) is about 900 KWh / month. The problem is that my need during the hottest months amount to about 1,200 KWh / month (1 EV car) which means that I must pay additionally to LADWP every month. I will never save any surplus to my LADWP NEM Bank which means that I will constantly have to buy additional electricity from LADWP throughout the year. All in all, this means that due to the fixed financing cost of the system I hardly save any money at all during the summer months, and I will lose money during the winter months compared to not having solar panels at all!! I had to spend a lot of time making sure nothing was wrong with my solar meter, LADWP account, my power production etc. A lot of fact finding. I got no support they were just blaming someone else all the time. All this despite providing actual LADWP invoices and actual electricity usage up until a few months before the installation date. A major mistake. 2. Damaged my roof during install: My install was finalized in November 2021 just in the beginning of the rain season in Los Angeles. After the solar panel install my roofer did a yearly review of the roof and noticed several major mistakes. During the install they had broken 16 tiles that had not been replaced. In some cases, they had just tried to glue the tile pieces together. Several cases of lack of sealing/water proofing after drilling directly into the roof. This is just a few examples of the problems they created. They never notified me about this but just left the roof as is. My roofer said that it was a severe safety issue (roof can completely cave-in after a few years) and risk of water leaks (roof completely open in some areas). 3. Water leaks: And surprise surprise I got water leaks in my kitchen/living room ceiling (multiple times) first time while away on vacation. They needed to come back twice to fix the roof and replace the tiles and repaint the whole inside of the ceiling. I have still not had the chance to confirm that everything is OK with the roof. 4. Scratched solar panel installed: One solar panel was completely scratched up, but they went ahead and installed it anyway. Had to complain to have it replaced. I wish you all the best with your solar panel install. For your sake go with another vendor. For all of you that have done an install with PacificSky Solar please call your roofer and do an inspection of your roof asap.

PacificSky Solar employees MISLED my wife and I about who they worked for by telling us that they worked for the City Of Los Angeles/Los Angeles County...VERY MISLEADING AND DECEITFUL!!! PacificSky Solar also MISLED us by telling us that they would give us 2 electric vehicle chargers, but they ended up installing only 1 electric vehicle charger. They OMITTED the second electric vehicle charger from the contract...AGAIN, VERY MISLEADING AND DECEITFUL!!! PacificSky Solar MISLED us by saying that we would get a refund check from the State Of California in the amount of approximately $15,000.00, but we only received approximately $6,000.00 (not even half of what they told us we would receive)...AGAIN, VERY MISLEADING AND DECEITFUL!!! PacificSky Solar recommended we install 27 solar panels to make our electricity charges on our L.A.D.W.P. bills decrease to $0.00, and give us a credit toward the water and sanitation charges on our bills. However, our electricity charges have not gone to $0.00 like PacificSky Solar MISLED us to believe they would, even though we had 30 solar panels installed (3 more than they recommended). SINCE THE SOLAR PANELS WERE INSTALLED, OUR L.A.D.W.P. ELECTRICITY CHARGES HAVE NEVER DECREASED TO $0.00. SO NOW WE NOT ONLY HAVE TO PAY FOR THE LOAN FOR THE SOLAR PANELS, WE ARE ALSO STILL HAVING TO PAY FOR ELECTRICITY CHARGES...ONCE AGAIN, VERY MISLEADING AND DECEITFUL!!! A few of the solar panels that PacificSky Solar installed on our roof were supposedly new but they were SCRATCHED...POOR QUALITY, INCONSIDERATE, UNPROFESSIONAL, AND TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! PacificSky Solar MISLABELED MORE THAN HALF OF THE CIRCUIT BREAKERS in our circuit breaker box, which we then had to take the time to correct ourselves...UNSAFE, POOR QUALITY, INCONSIDERATE, UNPROFESSIONAL, AND TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! When PacificSky Solar had finished the installation work, they LEFT A BIG MESS BEHIND which we had to clean up ourselves - broken pieces of wood, a few dozen nails and screws, and other various materials...ONCE AGAIN, UNSAFE, POOR QUALITY, INCONSIDERATE, UNPROFESSIONAL, AND TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Over the past year, I HAVE SPOKEN MANY TIMES TO MANY PEOPLE AT PACIFICSKY SOLAR. THEY ALL SAID THEY WOULD TAKE CARE OF OUR CONCERNS. BUT THEY WERE JUST CONTINUOUSLY MISLEADING US AND NEVER HAD ANY INTENTION OF HELPING US, BECAUSE NOW THEY ARE SAYING THAT THEY WILL NOT HELP US. JUDGING BY SOME OF THE OTHER REVIEWS WE HAVE SEEN ON OTHER WEBSITES, OURS IS NOT AN ISOLATED CASE - THERE APPEARS TO BE A PATTERN OF PACIFICSKY SOLAR AND THEIR EMPLOYEES MISLEADING AND DECEIVING CUSTOMERS...UNACCEPTABLE, MISLEADING, DECEITFUL, AND HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Needless to say, WE ARE VERY DISAPPOINTED, VERY FRUSTRATED, VERY UPSET, AND EXTREMELY DISSATISFIED with how PacificSky Solar MISLED US, DECEIVED US, and TREATED US SO TERRIBLY, and we want to warn everyone - DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH PACIFICSKY SOLAR!!!

LOVE my new solar system!!! I feel so hip!!! Jeremy at Pacific Sky Solar was phenomenal. He goes over and beyond - 110% - white glove service. So very pleased - no money out of pocket - just my monthly FIXED RATE electric bill which is LESS than what my LADWP bill was - win win. I cannot believe I waited this long to go solar. In an earlier review, I castigated Pacific Sky Solar and said that you can't count on them to back you up when things go south. I'm happy to report that I was proven wrong. The owner of the company paid me a personal visit to make things right. I have tremendous respect for this. He was able to take full ownership of what went wrong and made reparations that I am more than satisfied with. Like I said in my original review, you can tell the integrity of a business not by how they act when everything goes well, but how they act when things don't go as planned. Well, Pac Sky Solar renewed my faith in their integrity, and so, because of this, I want my review to reflect that. In this day and age when they could have easily ignored my review and gone about their business, they chose, instead, to do the honorable thing. Well done, Pac Sky Solar. You're earned back my business, and you should consider them yourself the next time you want solar work done.

Installation was completed in one day and produced satisfying results.

Thomas and Crew did a very good job from start to finish! Everything went as promised, and was amazed when I just received my first electric bill for zero dollars after running the AC a lot the month of August!

installation was very good overall. Sales person was amazing and promised everything. Quality control with Robert was very helpful and attentive. He helped me with the process of the monitoring. Only thing that needs to be approved is coordination with the permits. I would prefer the azimuth angle a little bit higher to get better efficient during the winter.

Solar City, did not approve of the project in the beginning and when I found Pacific Sky Solar, they made everything possible. I was really happy I went with Pacific Sky Solar mainly because of their service and the good reviews I have read. They have always been genuinely nice and always followed me through the project. Robert came out and was really helpful. He was able to work with my busy schedule.

Eric was an excellent salesman and promised everything on the contract. Installation was quick and they were very friendly and neat and answered my questions thru out the installs. Customer service was awesome, always calling me and making sure I was up to date with the project. After support with Robert was very good, he was very knowledgeable and made it easy to learn for my wife and I. If anyone wants to come and look at the work, feel free to check it out on my house by making an appointment with Eric.

David was very patient, informative and made the sales process very easy. Installers were wonderful and did an amazing job installing the solar. Robert came to our house on time and showed us the monitoring system, and answered all my questions to my satisfaction.

Excellent service, installation, and price.

Installers did a great job, my roof looks wonderful now with the solar panels. Aymane was our sales person and he was very involved in the solar process in the beginning but in the middle of the project he was not replying back, or the response would be very slow. I would not recommend this salesman because the communication was very poor. After sales support with Robert was a great experience, learned the monitoring program. Overall, I am glad the solar system is completed.

Everyone I dealt with at Pacific Sky was professional and friendly, from the sales staff to the installers. The teams arrived on time and worked quickly and efficiently. Once the project was completed, they visited again for a final quality check and walked me through the monitoring system, everything is easy to understand and user friendly. Bottom line, I''d recommend their services to friends and family without hesitation.

Eric was a very good salesman, and promised everything on the contract. Installers were great, fast and professional. Installed new roof brackets at no extra cost because my roof could not use the brackets they brought originally. Robert taught us the monitoring system and now I can view our production on the computer. Great Experience overall.

Prior to the install some panels slightly scratched the wall chipping some of the paint when lifting the panels up to the roof, but overall good installation.

My solar panel installation was very involved. Pacific Solar built us a 23' x 23' patio (it's like an outdoor living space) to install the panels on, The structure was required to pass several inspections by the City of Los Angeles Bureau of Building and Safety. I had to have a power pole replaced and new power lines strung from the new pole to the new mast. My 200 amp service had to be moved because of conflict with the gas meter. Through all the twist and turns and some minor set-backs; Pacific Sky Solar made it happen, solved every problem, dealt with obtaining permits, inspections and the DWP. Great job! Thanks Issac.

Sales process was very good and follow up, I did expect to be kept informed during the process better, there was period of time of no communication.

Robert came in a timely manner. Answered all our questions,concerns, and understandable terms. Daniel was an acceptable salesman. Installers were great, made everything nice and neat. There was some vague communications but Arash helped us with all of them. He was very good at answering our service requests. Pacificsky solar was flexible with the timeliness of the payments, which was really helpful.

PacificSky Solar have to be by far the best solar panel company I have dealt with. Prior to getting solar panels, I researched about it for a full year before deciding to make the move. I have got quotes from a lot of different competitive solar panel companies and so far PacificSky Solar was the best out of them. I really liked the fact they carried Sunpower Brand because I've researched it and heard only good results from that brand. The turn around was quick, and the installers made it look very high end and neat. The sales was easy and promised me everything that was happening on the contract. Robert came in for the last visit to show you my monitoring and he did exceptionally well with his presentation. He made sure I was taken care of, and answered all my questions. I referred one of my friends and received $1,000 so that was good. Overall me and my wife are really pleased with the quality of service and help we got from PacificSky Solar.

David showed us good cost savings, and we are definitely saving money on our electricity. Installation was nice and neat. Had a little issue with the invertor not working correctly, but they pacific sky solar came back and fixed the problem. Robert's presentation was good and very informative, and made sure I was satisfied

PacificSky Solar was able to get me good price, installation in a timely manner and the equipment I wanted. Robert came by to explain the monitoring system and made it easy to understand. I have interviewed many installers PacificSky Solar gave the best deal and completed installation in 3 days. The whole process from sales to design to permitting to installation took only 6 weeks.

Excellent presentation of the Dash board by Robert. Eric made the sales process easy, and Arash followed me up on my project when needed.

Overall quality of final installation very good. The materials and workmanship were top notch. It took longer than expected. (disclaimer: I had a pretty big job) The one improvement I would suggest is better communication to the customer and sub-contractors.

Robert was professional and punctual. He answered all of my questions and addressed all of my concerns thoroughly and politely. His knowledge of the sun power monitoring software and client software was amazing. Nothing major, but Pacific Sky Solar did not send me the login info for the monitoring system, luckily for me Robert's customer skills are above par and he personally went to the office to retrieve that login info for me; talk about service.

Robert did a good follow through, called to schedule and worked with my hours when I needed to change appointment. Kept me appraised of what steps were included. I like thorough explanations and would have liked to know about the grounding rod requirement before and what would have to go under house. Workers were timely, polite, helpful.

Robert was very thorough in his explanations The whole process went relatively smoothly. There was a delay with the permit and Pacific solar forgot to inicially call to change the appointment. The problem was resolved and we found them to be personable and honest.

Overall, Installation work was done with minimum evasiveness. Installation seemed clean and professional. After installation, review of information was thorough and clear. Robert came in a timely manner and delivered my important documents.

Robert was very informing. Pacific Solar was a breeze to work with. Someone called me everyday at 3 pm to tell me what was happening the next day. Workers were amazing. Worked extra hard to get my panels up before a certain date even if that meant staying well past 3:00. Everyone at Pacific Sky Solar was really awesome and I recommend this product to everyone.

In and out in one day for a 2800+ sqft house. Great customer service and good overall experience. Were able to expedite permitting at no extra cost, DWP was at my place within 2 weeks instead of the 8 weeks i was quoted. I am a real estate appraiser. Although I was impressed was the installation, I didn't realize just how nice of a system I had until I starting comparing other systems while doing appraisals. I noticed many other systems have sloppy installations, only 1 inverter, and inverters installed outside in the elements. Both inverters are installed inside my garage which requires considerable additional labor and materials. My system is actually 2 separate systems, each which a 15 amp outlet so that I still have power in the event of a daytime grid failure.

I did my research and met with all of the big solar companies. I actually signed a deal with Solar City until the inspector came out and said we will not touch your roof. After that I luckily found Pacific Solar. They offered me a comparable deal and did an amazing job installing my panels. They also set up less panels than what solar city was going to which i was happy about.

Extremely competitive pricing and professional installation highlighted my experience with PacificSky. My absolute highest endorsement.

PacificSky Solar completed all steps earlier than promised.

The process was pretty painless. I had to have my current system replaced because of defective panels. Pacificsky was responsive and quick to respond to my request. The price they quoted was significantly lower than the other estimate I received. Two other companies never respond to my request. They however had some trouble coordinating and I got confusing messages confirming than not confirming my appointment. It was has been about a month and time will be the final determination of effectiveness of the panels. Overall I am very satisfied with the product and service I received.

A couple years ago my wife & I met with reps from several solar companies. We learned a lot and finally chose Pacific Sky (then known as ADR). From our first meeting with them through to when we eventually sold our duplex, it couldn't have gone more smoothly. * We received excellent advice from our rep, Eric, for what would work best for our situation (prepaid 20 year lease), * The company showed up when they said they would and did what they said they'd do in the timing the promised, * They worked with us on a great price * Their admin people, particularly Adas, provided superb support as they navigated the rebate process for us (not with us, FOR us), and * When the system was installed and running, they came out yet again to thoroughly explain the monitoring process. * And when we finally got our electric bills we were very pleased with the result. We are fans of solar, and particularly of the SunPower panels and system, and we are definitely fans of Pacific Sky Solar. Very please all around.
